Are you insured? 

Yes Red Cedar is fully insured.

What does your insurance include?  

Public liability to $10M, property loss or damages, all policies and procedures we have in place take work and customer safety seriously to manage any risks for us and for you.  

Where are you located? 

Jaspers Brush.  We service the Shoalhaven and Kiama regions. 

Can I get a quote?  

  1. Yes of course.  We offer free quotes and it is always good to meet our customers and is an opportunity for us to see what is needed and discuss how we can help.

How much do you charge?  

Depends on what is required, how long the job will take, if any extras are needed.  We work 2 ways.  A fixed price based on a quote or a competitive hourly rate (starting from $75 per hour).

What are your hourly rates?  

Around $75 per hour, we try to ensure our rates are fair and competitive.  A more substantial job will cost more, depending upon equipment needed, add ons required or a higher skill set needed (such as ride on mowing, using a tractor, fencing or chainsawing).

What does your hourly rate encompass?

Our hourly rates are fair and competitive, they include insurance, superannuation, business administration costs, equipment usage (including fuel!), equipment maintenance (safety is paramount!), we need to include sick and holiday leave (like any job!) and of course labour.

Do you offer a discount for frequent visits, or a regular service?  

We offer discounts for those who use us on weekly, fortnightly or monthly services, the more frequent you use us, the bigger the discount.  This is so that we can build long term relationships with our customers and retain your loyalty.

What products do you use? 

 It really depends.  On large properties we use a combination of products that may suit a certain weed or situation.  With domestic properties we strive to be environmentally conscious and considerate of the occupants, their families and pets. We will let you know what we feel is appropriate before we use any chemicals. Chris has completed his safe chemical training and has lots of knowledge and experience in this area.

What experience do you have?  

Years and years of experience in property maintenance and management on the family farm, Chris is also a mechanic by trade, so his practical skills are paramount. So our experience comes from years of practical application and living in the Shoalhaven. Local knowledge for the local environment.

How do I pay?  

  1. On the day in cash

  1. Via direct deposit (7 day terms after invoice is issued)

I have an Airbnb/rental property, so the window of time is quite small.  Can you stick to a certain time? 

We will do our best.  We pride ourselves on being reliable.  We work to a schedule and communicate if and when there is a circumstance like weather or a hiccup.  It is our intent to maintain the best service level we possible can and ensuring your satisfaction and continued business.  

What other services do you offer?  

Ask and if we are capable we will accommodate as best we can.

Can I have a monthly account?  

For regular clients (weekly/ fortnightly), yes, we can do that.

What are your terms for payment?  

Our terms are 7 days from date of invoice.  

What about tip fees? 

We will take it all away for you and then applied to the invoice with a copy of the tip fee charge.    

What happens if it rains?  

Weather can be a big factor in mowing or using equipment depending upon the job.  We always communicate with you if there is a weather impact that may mean we should reschedule to get the best result and ensure we can do it right.
